Let’s be real: parenting a neurodivergent child is anything but cookie-cutter. So why should support programs for parents be any different?
Here at Successfully Social, we’ve always believed in creating resources that are as unique and dynamic as the families we serve. Our Empowered Parents Program was a labor of love—a program designed to help parents feel confident, capable, and connected to their neurodivergent children. And it worked. Families thrived, parents found their footing, and we were proud of what we built.
But recently, we had a little… let’s call it a "creative nudge" from the universe. Someone liked our program so much that they decided to borrow not just the ideas but the name itself. (We’ll let you decide if “borrow” is the right word here.)
At first, we’ll admit, it stung. But then we thought: You know what? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And if someone thought our program was worth copying, it’s a sign we’re onto something special.
But here’s the thing: we’re not here to blend in. We’re here to stand out. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned from working with neurodivergent kids and their families, it’s that different is beautiful. So, instead of getting stuck in the past, we decided to take this as an opportunity to level up.
Introducing the New (and Improved) Connected Parent Collective
We’re not just tweaking a few things or slapping on a fresh coat of paint. Oh no. We’re reimagining, reinventing, and reenergizing our program to reflect the incredible community we serve.
The Empowered Parents Program was just the beginning. Now, we’re thrilled to introduce-
The Connected Parent Collective: Cultivating Meaningful Relationships with Your Neurodivergent Child
Here’s what you can expect from the new-and-improved program:
1. A Framework as Unique as Your Child
Say goodbye to one-size-fits-all parenting advice. Our “three brains approach” (head, heart, and gut) is designed to help you understand and connect with your child in a way that honors their unique neurotype.
2. Strategies That Actually Work
With 20+ years of experience under our belts, we’ve seen it all. And we’ve distilled our best strategies into actionable, neurodivergent-affirming tools that you can start using right away.
3. A Community That Gets It
Parenting a neurodivergent child can feel isolating, but it doesn’t have to be. The Connected Parent Collective is a space where you can connect with other parents who truly understand your journey.
4. A Little Bit of Magic
We’re certified laughter yoga leaders, social coaches, and—dare we say it—professional hope-givers. Our program isn’t just about surviving; it’s about thriving, laughing, and finding joy in the everyday.
Why We’re Not Mad About the Copycats
Look, we could be bitter about the whole name-stealing situation. But instead, we’re choosing to see it as a sign that we’re doing something right. And honestly, it lit a fire under us to create something even better.
So, to whoever borrowed our name: thank you. You inspired us to dream bigger, dig deeper, and create a program that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
Stay Tuned for Something Extraordinary
The Connected Parent Collective is coming soon, and we can’t wait to share it with you. It’s bold, it’s fresh, and it’s designed with you in mind—because you deserve a program as unique as your family.
In the meantime, keep embracing the beautiful chaos of parenting a neurodivergent child. And remember: different isn’t just okay—it’s everything.
Stay connected,
Breann & Allison
